Prince George likely to bump siblings Princess Charlotte and Louis down line of succession
Prince George has ‘every right’ to a private life claims Smith
Prince George, seven, has many years to go until he takes the crown but Kate, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William’s eldest child is one day expected to become king. George and his siblings Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, are currently third, fourth and fifth in line to the throne but this will change dramatically if George ever has children.
As was the case for Prince Harry, 36, when Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, every child an existing heir has will push their siblings down the line of succession.
So while Harry was third in line to the throne ahead of Prince George’s birth, he was pushed down to fourth place by his nephew.
Harry was bumped down two further spots following the arrival of Princess Charlotte on May 5, 2015, and then later Prince Louis on April 23, 2018.
While Harry has since quit royal life he is still sixth in line to the throne.

Any children Prince George may have in future will usurp Charlotte and Louis’s current spots in the line of succession.
If George has one child then Charlotte will move to fifth in line and Louis to sixth.
If George has two children then Charlotte will be sixth in line and Prince Louis seventh – and so on and so forth.
How Princess Eugenie’s royal baby will change the line of succession
Princess Eugenie, 30, is currently expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank.
The royal baby is due to arrive in mid-February and when they do they will spark a change to the line of succession.
While Eugenie is not a working royal she is still 10th in line to the throne and her first child will be 11th in line.
This means that any royal under Eugenie in the line of succession will be pushed down a place when her baby arrives.

The royals due to be affected by this change include the Queen’s youngest son Prince Edward, 56, and his two children Lady Louise Windsor, 17, and James, Viscount Severn.
Prince Edward is currently 11th in line to the throne but will move down to 12th.
While Lady Louise and James will become 14th and 15th in line to the throne.
The Queen’s only daughter will also undergo a change to her royal status moving from 14th in line to 15th place.
Eugenie is not the only royal expecting a baby.
Princess Anne’s only daughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike are currently pregnant with their third child.
Zara and Mike already have two daughters – Lena, two, and Mia, six.
Zara, Lena, Mia and the new Tindall baby will also all shift down a spot in the line of succession upon the arrival of Eugenie’s first child.
Eugenie’s royal baby will be the Queen and Prince Philip’s 9th great-grandchild.
