Donald Trump has left a handover letter for his successor Joe Biden, it has been reported.

NBC tweeted: ‘Continuing a presidential succession tradition, President Trump has left a note for President-elect Biden, Trump White House spokesperson says’.

CNN also confirmed a letter had been left.

It is not yet clear what the letter contains.

Bloomberg claimed that Trump did not go to the Oval Office in person this morning, but the letter was left by an aide.
