Woman in her 20s bundled into car by two men and raped

A manhunt has been launched after a woman was bundled into a car by two men and raped.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was walking on Ilford High Road, in east London, when she was taken by the men who repeatedly punched her in the face.

She was driven a short distance away, where she was raped inside the vehicle.

The men drove off with the woman, but she managed to escape in the Ilford area and seek help.

She suffered injuries to her face and body after the attack at around 3.30am on Wednesday, November 25.

Police found the woman who has been receiving support from specialist officers.

Three men were arrested in Lincolnshire a few days after the attack. One man was later charged with rape, and the other two were released under investigation.

Detectives are now appealing for help to trace another man in connection with the incident.

A CCTV image of the man – who appears to have tattoos on his neck and fingers – was obtained from a shop near to the scene of the attack.

Anyone who can identify him from the image is urged to contact them.
