Often broadcasting paranormal activity online, Charlie Harker, 58, and Teresa Hughes, 59, are interested in hauntings and run the account Afterlife Paranormal, streaming their investigations on Facebook.

However, the couple has become increasingly worried about activity, after believing ghosts may have followed them to their home in Walsall, with “hauntings” becoming more “intense” in recent months. 

Mr Harker, said hauntings at their house were “low energy” at first but they’ve become “more powerful” after contacting a “sinister and demonic” presence called George, which has left his wife feeling “a little scared”.

Mr Harker explained: “We’ve lived here for four years but it’s been happening for over a year. Something may have followed us back, I’m not sure, but something is definitely stirring up activity in the house.”

A few examples of activity in the home have included almost being hit by a flying knife in his own kitchen.

The husband believes ‘George’ manifested himself when his wife was possessed at a graveyard. 

He claims: “It all kicked off that day, when we had that possession at the graveyard, when it all went wrong. That is what started it off. I think it was George that possessed her.” Charlie claims Teresa became ‘possessed’ and he found her lying in the mud, in darkness.

Mr Harker said it was the first and only time that he’d witnessed a possession. Teresa added: “I don’t remember anything apart from Charlie standing by me. I remember being soaking wet because, excuse my language, I had p*** myself.”

Following that eerie experience, the couple noticed heightened paranormal activity around them and six months ago, they decided to carry out a séance at home using a Ouija board to seek answers. Charlie said: “We’ve done one or two Ouija boards, we tried to contact someone named George, who is responsible for all this, what is going on.”

He added: “This entity is more powerful than any other spirit that I have ever encountered. We have done all the usual things like cleansing and holy water, but nothing seems to be preventing it from doing what it is doing.”

In the couple’s home, they think the most heightened area of activity is their staircase.

Their Facebook page has fans commenting on their activity and live streams trying to spot orbs and ghosts or any movement in videos.

Another notable past investigation on the road allegedly saw Teresa ‘pushed down’ the cellar at Graiseley Old Hall in Wolverhampton.

Their next investigation will take place at Rothley Court Hotel in Loughborough.
