The  17-year-old boy killed in a fatal stabbing in Chingford on Monday has been named by police as Chima Osuji. Police were called shortly before 0930pm to reports of a stabbing with officers on the scene within minutes, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.

Passersby joined emergency services to help provide first aid but tragically Chima died at the scene.

Police say that his next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the attack, while two other teenage boys had previously been arrested.
