Joseph Watts, 35, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to assault by beating over the incident at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Ramsdale, 24, was kicked in the back shortly after the Gunners’ 2-0 victory in the Premier League clash on January 15.

Watts, of Dalston in Hackney, east London, appeared in person to confirm his name, age and address before entering the pleas.

He also threw four coins towards the pitch.

Following the incident, the Football Association ‘strongly condemned’ what had happened, while Tottenham insisted that ‘violence in any form has no place in football’.
