Royal rift? Meghan Markle gets STRICT fashion instruction from The Queen claims ‘insider’

They also suggested Meghan has been advised to wear some clothes from Scottish designers during the trip. It is expected that Meghan and Harry will make their first joint trip to Balmoral, situated in the Scottish Highlands, this year. Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Digital the royal insider said: “The Queen is no favourite of jeans so the US boyfriend look and ripped jeans will be left in Frogmore Cottage along with any wedges which her Majesty hates with a passion.

“It has been mentioned that Meghan could well be wearing a few Scottish designers whilst at Balmoral and for church appearances with the Queen.

“Meghan has soft spot for North Lanarkshire born designer Christopher Kane, now a globally sought-after designer.”

The Queen arrived in Balmoral last week, and was pictured attending church with other senior royals.

Balmoral, situated in Aberdeenshire, was originally brought for Queen Victoria in 1852 by her husband Prince Albert as a gift.

According to Princess Eugenie The Queen adores spending time at Balmoral.

Appearing on ITV’s ‘Our Queen At Ninety’ documentary she commented: “It’s the most beautiful place on earth.

“I think Granny is the most happy there.

“I think she really, really loves the Highlands.”

Meghan and Harry married in May 2018, and had their first child a year later.

They currently live near Windsor in Frogmore Cottage.

Speaking to the Sun on Sunday a source said: “The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days.

“It is testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honour.”
