Duchess of Cambridge’s KEY fashion accessory that’s now on sale in M&S for under £20

The original 12 carat oval sapphire ring is encrusted with fourteen solitaire diamonds and made from 18K white gold. It once belonged to Prince William’s mother, Princess Diana. William proposed to Kate with the ring in Kenya back in 2010 and is said to be a way of “making sure my mother didn’t miss out on today and the excitement.”

When Kate showcased the ring for the first time in their official engagement photos, high street stores all tried to produce affordable dupes.

Marks & Spencer’s platinum plated baguette regal ring was one of the most sought after rings, retailing at just £19.50.

Nine years after their engagement, the ring is still just as popularity.

After going out of stock, the royal replica is back in stores for the public to purchase.

Matching pieces are also available to match the Duchess’s look.

The baguette regal stud earrings and the baguette regal necklace also cost £19.50 each.

However, Marks and Spencer have now released a new version of the ring called the platinum plated cocktail ring which is also retailing at £19.50.

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, re-designed the engagement ring Prince Harry gave her.

An expert said Meghan’s re-designed ring is expected to become the next big thing due to its exclusivity.

Antique dealer Matty Weldon of Courtville Antiques said: “Meghan’s ring is an antique cushion-cut diamond.

“Where modern stones are cut broadly in the same way, each cushion-cut diamond is totally bespoke and individually crafted for maximum brilliance.

“This is what people want when they are buying an engagement ring – something no-one else has with its own exclusive shape and magical charm.”
