Royal revelation: How Sarah Ferguson has spent her time on coronavirus lockdown

The Royal Family in Britain has so far seen one member test positive for coronavirus. Prince Charles tested positive for the deadly virus last week and is now out of self-isolation. But how exactly has Prince Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson spent her time during the coronavirus lockdown?

Sarah Ferguson is the ex-wife of the Queen and Prince Philip’s second son, Prince Andrew, and the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Like individuals up and down the country, Sarah has been ordered to stay at home except for “very limited” reasons.

These reasons are:

  • Shopping for basic necessities, such as food and medicine
  • One form of exercise per day
  • Medical need or to provide care
  • Travel to and from work where the work is important to the coronavirus response or cannot be undertaken from home.

Sarah and her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie appear to be self-isolating together at Royal Lodge according to recent images.

On Friday, March 27, Fergie, as she is affectionately known, revealed she had handed out sweet treats to NHS workers.

On Instagram, the Duchess of York offered gratitude to her friend Hermann Bühlbecker, who is a German confectionery entrepreneur.

She offered her support and thanks to the “hard workers in the UK”.

Mr Bühlbecker also shared an image of the Duchess of York with Eugenie on Instagram.

His caption reads: “A few days ago Fergie, Duchess of York, and her daughter received a large delivery of Lambertz pastries (over 100 kg) at the Royal Lodge.

“This is intended for the doctors and staff of London hospitals, who are currently working up to their limits.

“The Duchess called us about this; she sent us the pictures when the shipment arrived.”

The caption appears to suggest the mother and daughter are staying under the same roof until the coronavirus pandemic subsides.

Normally, Princess Eugenie lives with her husband Jack Brooksbank in Ivy Cottage in Kensington Palace.

But the image of Sarah and Eugenie together indicates they have been together throughout the lockdown.

It is currently not known whether Eugenie’s husband Jack is with them at Royal Lodge or not.

However, the news came after it was revealed Eugenie and Jack delivered care packages to NHS staff.

According to the MailOnline, the couple were spotted driving through London to hand out care packages to workers at Hammersmith Hospital on two separate occasions.

The deliveries reportedly contained a number of essentials for frontline staff battling the coronavirus crisis, including toothpaste, soap, shower gel, hand wash, anti-bacterial wipes, dried pasta, pasta sauces, rice, cereal bars and tinned fruit.

A source told the MailOnline: “They wanted to do anything they could to help.”

Sarah was this week shown showing her support for the NHS again by gifting staff at the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust a large hamper of beauty products.

On Twitter, Sarah shared an image of the Dr Gabriela Clinic basket.

The caption read: “Thank you so much @DrMercik for your very generous donation to @NHSEnglandLDN. Always a lady of her heart @BucksHealthcare #coronavirus #nhs”.

Where are other members of the Royal Family now?

Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall are currently self-isolating at his home at Balmoral in Scotland.

His mother the Queen and father Prince Philip are together at Windsor Castle.

Prince William, Kate Duchess of Cambridge and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now officially no longer senior members of the Royal Family and are believed to be with their Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in Los Angeles.
