Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have moved to Los Angeles, US, where they have resided every since officially stepping down as senior royals this Spring. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently renting an £8million home in the US city and live their with their one-year-old son Archie Harrison. Now, another family members has joined the couple.
Meghan has reportedly moved her mother Doria Ragland into the mansion she’s renting with her husband.
According to sources, Doria is acting as an “unofficial nanny” to her grandson Archie.
One source told The Sun: “Doria has her own quarters and whilst a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her.”
Meghan and Harry are understood to be looking to buy the home in the Beverly Hills area.

The property is said to have an annex for Doria to live in.
Another source added Meghan wants to keep her mother close as she is “her rock”.
Meghan is known for having an extremely close relationship with Doria.
When Harry and Meghan married in May 2018, Doria flew in from LA to support her daughter.
She smiled and waved to the crowds outside St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
Doria has been spotted in England on several occasions since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex married.
Before Meghan and Harry stepped down from their royal duties, reports suggested Doria was planning on moving to the UK.
However, instead the royal couple moved to California to be closer to her, and they now reportedly live together.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their departure from the Royal Family in January.
At the time, the couple had been holidaying in Canada for almost two months.
The couple stayed for a while on Vancouver Island in the Commonwealth nation, but has now landed on LA.
When announcing their intention to step away from life as senior royals, the couple wrote on their old Instagram account @SussexRoyal: “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.
“We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”
The couple added it was due to their fans “encouragement, particularly over the last few years” they felt “prepared to make the adjustment”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were due to launch their new charity Archewell this spring, however, the announcement is likely delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
However, Meghan and Harry have kept working during the crisis and have been pictured delivering food to those in needs in LA.
Meghan also recently spoke out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
