Royal Family warning: Security alert over rising number of STALKERS

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under mass media scrutiny ever since they married in May last year – and shocking figures have revealed the number of royal stalkers is at its peak. The Royal Family have made 160 stalker referrals, a 25 percent increase ever since Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding ceremony, figures from the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) have revealed. Five of the stalkers have been classed as “high concern”, with experts citing “worrying” lack of intelligence to effectively protect members of the Royal Family.

Meanwhile, 82 stalkers were categorised as “moderate concern” while the other 73 are of low concern.

Dai Davies, ex-royal protection head at the Metropolitan Police, told the Sun: “The royals attract people who are fixated — from terrorists to people on the far right.

“The fact that Harry married a woman of black origin could, in some maniac’s eyes, give rise to further concern.”

Meghan and Harry’s move to rural Berkshire could be “a potential problem”, Mr Davies said.

He added: “It doesn’t take a brain surgeon working out where they are going to be and when.”

The FTAC is funded by the NHS and Government, and oversees specially trained psychiatrists, nurses and police who help moderate and treat obsessed individuals.

The Royal Family reports over 10,000 cases of threats and abuse to the FTAC each year.

In 2017, royal stalker Louise Chantry was arrested for allegedly trying to sneak into Prince George’s school at Thomas Battersea on two separate occasions.

Chantry was obsessed with the “fairytale” lifestyle the Royal Family had.

Her mother Rhona Crawford, 75, said Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William “represent the ideal family life she would like to have”.

She said: “She wouldn’t have done any harm to George. He would have been safe with her.

“She just loves the royal family and loves kids.”

Chantry accepted a caution for causing a nuisance on school property.
