Princess Beatrice and millionaire property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi married in July after a long term relationship. Beatrice and Edoardo were supposed to say ‘I do’ in a much more lavish ceremony at St James’s Palace, which had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The small ceremony saw the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in attendance, as well as Beatrice’s immediate family, mother Sarah Ferguson, father Prince Andrew and sister Eugenie.

Beatrice and Edoardo are undoubtedly loved up and enjoying the honeymoon period of their marriage, and there’s one special way Beatrice lets her husband know how much she cares for him.

A source told the Telegraph’s Camilla Tominey how Beatrice puts up “loads of pictures” of Edoardo’s son in the couple’s home so he “feels like he has two families”.

Beatrice, 32, became a stepmother to Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf in July, Edoardo’s son which he shares with his ex-fiancee Dara Huang.

The source said: “Beatrice ensured there are loads of pictures of him up in their house, so he feels like he has two families, and they do get on well.”

The insider revealed the good relationship between the stepmother and stepson was down to Beatrice.

They added: “She [Beatrice] has instigated a lot of that, rather than Dara.”

Since getting married to Edoardo, Beatrice has become a regular at Wolfie’s nursery, where she picks him up as he rides home on his scooter.

One onlooker who spotted them together recently said: “Beatrice could have been any other mother on the school run.

“She welcomed the little boy out of school with a big hug and then took his bag while he set off on his scooter.

“It was quite touching how close they seemed. She clearly dotes on the little boy.”

Beatrice reportedly told pals she plans on being a “doting stepmother” and talks about Wolfie “all the time”.

One said: “Bea has always been really close to Edo’s family, so it’s natural that Wolfie should become part of hers.

“He is a super little boy and extremely cute.

“It will be interesting to see what happens when they start their own family – but Bea is so caring, his happiness will always be her number one priority.”

Wolfie served as best man in Beatrice and Edoardo’s wedding at the Royal Chapel of All Saints, in Windsor.

The youngster was dressed smarty in a page boy’s outfit and could be seen following the newlyweds out of the church.

To protect Wolfie’s privacy, he did not feature in any of the four official photographs released by the Royal Family.

Princess Beatrice honoured her grandmother, the Queen, in a big way on her big day by wearing one of her dresses, originally designed by Sir Norman Hartnell.

The stunning, jewel-encrusted gown recently went on display at Windsor Castle.

Curator of the exhibition Caroline de Guitaut said the last-minute request to dig deep into the Royal fashion archives came after the bridge deemed a brand new dress inappropriate for a pandemic wedding.

Ms de Guitaut explained: “She talked a lot about the upcycling aspect and how that was really important to her, given the situation that we all find ourselves in at the moment, with the pandemic and the compromises being made by everybody.”
