Princess Anne, 70, is one of the hardest-working members of the Royal Family but enjoyed a day off as she attended a sporting event with her husband Timothy Laurence on Friday.
The Princess Royal married Tim in 1992, just months after she finalised her divorce from her first husband Mark Phillips.
Anne and Tim share a passion for sports and go on sailing holidays together every year.
On Friday the couple were snapped watching the golf during day two of the 149th Open at Royal St George’s Golf Club in Sandwich.
Anne looked laid back in a baseball cap, sunglasses and pale blue blazer while Tim sported a Panama hat, checked shirt and jacket.
They were photographed watching the golf from the stands with R&A Captain Clive Edginton.
Anne appeared to be in her element and wore a wide grin as she seemed to share a joke with her husband.
They were also spotted out on the course watching the action on the 1st green.
Anne and Tim live at Gatcombe House in Gloucestershire.
The stately home and its surrounding estate were a gift to Anne from the Queen following her marriage to first husband Mark Phillips.
Anne’s children Zara Tindall, 40, and Peter Phillips, 43, both live in residences on the Gatcombe Park Estate with their respective families.
Following Prince Philip’s death in April, Anne has supported the Queen at several important events.
Last week she carried out a series of face-to-face investitures on behalf of the Queen at St James’s Palace.

The special events are when members of the public on the bi-yearly Queen’s honours list receive their honours.
The Royal Family shared news of the event on Twitter.
“The Princess Royal held an Investiture at St James’s Palace earlier today.
“Her Royal Highness presented honours to 35 worthy recipients from across the UK.
“Congratulations to everyone who received an honour today!”
Anne also shadowed the Queen on several outings during her recent trip to Scotland for Royal Week.
The royal mother and daughter looked relaxed in one another’s company as they carried out engagements with the air of seasoned professionals.
Anne was unable to celebrate her 70th birthday with a proper party last year due to the pandemic.
