Prince Harry birthday: How is Harry celebrating turning 35? All the details revealed

Meghan Markle paid a touching tribute to her husband, Prince Harry, on Instagram on Sunday morning. She wrote that Harry was the “best husband and most amazing dad to our son”, and said, “We love you”. The message accompanied nine pictures of Harry, ranging from him as a baby to with their own son, Archie Harrison.

How is Harry celebrating?

The family has not announced any public celebrations to mark this milestone.

They tend to celebrate their birthdays in private, surrounded by close family.

The Royal Family has showered Harry in love today with tributes on social media.

Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge wrote on Instagram: “Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duke of Sussex today!”, accompanied by a picture of William and Harry on Harry’s wedding day.

The Queen and Prince Philip also wished Harry on their own Instagram page.

The proud grandparents chose a sweet picture of the monarch beaming with joy while chatting to Harry.

They wrote in the caption: “Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex – 35 today!”

Prince Charles and Camilla shared photos on the Clarence House Instagram page of himself with Harry, and wrote: “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex who turns 35 today!”

Meghan has previously spoken about how she considered the importance of birthdays.

Writing in her now-closed blog, The Tig, the Duchess said: “My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.

“Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead.”

She wrote that all she wished for was “More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration.”

Now, the couple are preparing for their first international tour, heading to Africa on Monday, September 23.

The family will land in South Africa together, before the Duke undertakes work in Botswana, Angola and Malawi, too.

The couple excitedly shared the news on Instagram, writing: “This will be our first official tour as a family!”
