Meghan Markle today celebrates her second birthday as Prince Harry’s wife and a member of the Royal Family, and her first as mother to baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Royal fans around the globe gushed at a touching tribute Prince Harry made to his “amazing wife” on their shared Instagram account today, which included a never-before-seen picture of the Duchess of Sussex. In every appearance and photograph of the couple, they appear to be head over heels for one another. The Duchess of Sussex is enjoying her 38th birthday today, most likely with her husband and almost three-month-old son by her side.

In a heartwarming tribute to his wife, Prince Harry shared a stunning photograph of the Duchess alongside a personalised message which read:: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!’ – Love, H.”

The photo of Meghan was taken from the couple’s royal visit to Tonga, as part of their tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in October 2018. 

The Duchess was wearing a beautiful powder blue dress from designer Veronica Beard as the couple attended the unveiling of the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.

The tour of the Commonwealth immediately preceded the announcement that Meghan was expecting.
