Meghan Markle and Harry split from Kate and William a ‘good thing’ – ‘We were worried’
Meghan Markle and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, have been dogged by persistent rumours of a royal rift since Meghan married Prince Harry last year. But, People’s Senior News Editor, Erin Hill, has claimed since the royal households have split, Meghan and Kate have “come back together even stronger”. Speaking on People Now, presenter, Makho Ndlovu, questioned the relationship between Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan.
She said: “We remember when they announced they would be splitting from William and Kate and moving out of Kensington Palace, we were a bit worried about what that could mean for the relationship between the two couples. But, now their inner circle is telling us that was a good thing?”
Royal expert Hill explained how the decision has allowed both Meghan and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, to “unite”.
She said: “It’s a good thing and I think everybody can relate. If you can imagine living and working with your in-laws day-to-day.
“It’s a good thing to move away to set up their own households, their own organisations.

“In fact, we are learning they have come back together even stronger, more as a family now rather than colleagues and it is really strengthening these relationships.”
She added: “Kids are uniting them as kids do, they have more in common now.
“William famously said when his baby was born that finally, his brother was part of the ‘sleep deprivation club’.
“There’s more they can relate too. The cousins are really important. William and Harry grew up really close to their cousins.
“Zara is a Godmother to George, Harry is really close to Princess Eugenie, so the cousins are a big deal.”
Meghan gave birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor at the start of Ma, which has allowed the sisters-in-law to “make an effort to get along” now they have more in common, an expert claimed.
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight: “I am told both of them are making an effort to get along.
“The truth of the situation is yes, there have been tensions behind the scenes. I certainly think now that Archie is here, it has probably helped really improve the relationship.
“I hear that Kate has made herself available to Meghan if she needs advice. Kate said to Meghan, ‘I’m here, I’m here for you.’”
Meghan and Kate were spotted together riding together at the Trooping the Colour celebrations in June and later cheering on their husbands at a charity polo match in Berkshire before attending Wimbledon together earlier this month.

Several royal commentators have dismissed rumours of a rift between Meghan and Kate and instead claimed there is instead tension between brothers Prince Harry and Prince William.
Earlier this year Kensington Palace announced Prince Harry and Meghan would receive their own personal household after their relocation to Frogmore Cottage.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were handed their personal communication team separate from Kate and William’s and their own social media accounts.
Last month it was also confirmed the couples will no longer work together within the Royal Foundation, the charitable organisation Harry and William created together in 2009 and which Kate and Meghan joined when they married into the Royal Family.
