The teenager, who is studying for her A-levels, will experience a series of shifts in her place in line to the throne with the arrival of two new royal babies. The 17-year-old is currently in 14th place behind her father Prince Edward and brother James Viscount Severn respectively.

Louise will be bumped down down the pecking order this summer with the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby girl.

And in the autumn when Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have their baby, she will find herself in 16th place.

Bea is currently ninth-in-line to the throne ahead of her sister Princess Eugenie in 10th place.

Louise, who inherited the Queen and Prince Philip’s love of horses, will turn 18 in November.

When she celebrates the milestone she will be free to choose a HRH title if she wishes.

However, given the fact the young royal was raised without it, she is not expected to suddenly adopt the change in the coming months.

Her mother Sophie, Countess of Wessex, previously spoke out about her and Edward’s decision not to give their children HRH titles.

The mother-of-two told The Sunday Times that both Louise and James will likely have to earn their own crust when they come of age.

She explained: “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living.

“Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles.

“They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely.”

Sophie also spoke out about how studious her daughter is in the classroom as she predicted she will head to university when she graduates.

She told The Sunday Times: “She’s working hard and will do A-levels.

“I hope she goes to university.

“I wouldn’t force her, but if she wants to. She’s quite clever.”

The Earl and Countess of Wessex are raising their children in Bagshot Park, their country home in Surrey.

The mansion is located 11 miles south of Windsor and throughout their childhood Louise and James have enjoyed a close relationship with their grandmother, the Queen.

Last summer after the monarch and the Duke of Edinburgh escaped to Balmoral for their annual Scottish summer holiday, the Wessexes were pictured visiting them.

The Queen is understood to enjoy a close bond with her daughter-in-law.

After the death of Prince Philip in April, the Queen gave a sweet nod to Sophie’s photography skills.

The Royal Family released a previously unseen photo of the Queen and Philip basking in the Highlands in a heart-warming moment captured by Sophie.
