Prince Edward’s daughter will be pushed further down the line of succession as a result. Currently, Lady Louise is 14th in the line of succession to the throne. But the Duchess of Sussex and Beatrice are expecting children in the coming months.
Lady Louise, 17, will end up 16th in the line of succession once they are both born.
Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby girl will become ninth in the line of succession.
Beatrice and Edoardo’s baby will be 11th in the succession line.
Meghan announced she and Harry were expecting their second child on Valentine’s Day this year.
During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, the Sussex royals also shared the baby will be a girl due in the “summertime”.
But the Daily Beast’s Royalist newsletter said their baby is due even sooner than expected.
It read: “The Royalist was always taught summer started in June, but there have also been rumours the baby was due sooner than that, so we think the answer is ‘any day now’.”
Earlier this month, Beatrice and Edoardo announced they are expecting their first child together.
Buckingham Palace announced the pregnancy in a statement, which said: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.
“The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
The Princess, the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York, married property tycoon Edoardo in a private ceremony last July.
