The image of Prince William, second in line to the throne, was shared on Sunday to coincide with the end of National Volunteering Week. The picture, taken by Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, shows William holding an umbrella over Prince George and Princess Charlotte as they deliver food to older residents living nearby their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk. The adorable picture is reminiscent of an image of Meghan and Harry taken in March this year, before they officially stepped down as senior royals.

The picture of the Cambridges delivering the food parcels was shared on their official social media account, Kensington Royal.

Accompanying the image, the caption read: “As we approach the end of #VolunteersWeek The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photo taken by The Duchess as they played their own part in the national volunteering effort.

“In April, The Duke and Duchess and their family visited the Sandringham Estate where they packed up and delivered food parcels to isolated pensioners in the local area.”

The family, including Kate and Prince Louis, have been staying in Norfolk since the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown.

Many royal fans noticed the striking similarities between the Cambridge’s snap, and one taken of Meghan and Harry in March.

The photo of the couple was taken at this year’s Endeavour Fund Awards ceremony, and showed the pair smiling and laughing at each other as they sheltered from the rain with an umbrella.

The gorgeous photo of the Sussexes was widely shared after the event, as it marked the couple’s first UK engagement since announcing their plans to step back as senior members of the Royal Family.

Meghan wore a stunning bright blue dress by Victoria Beckham and navy Manolo Blahnik heels.

Photographer Samir Hussein, who captured the magical moment revealed he was extremely proud of the image.

He said: “It’s a one in a million when all the elements you could wish for as a photographer come together – perfect timing, great lighting, strong symbolism and amazing subjects make this a magical photo I am extremely proud of.”

Since the image was taken, Meghan and Harry moved back to Canada – where they had spent much of the Christmas break with their son, Archie.

But the couple recently opted to move to Los Angeles, California, where they currently reside.
