Kate and William take break from royal duties for holiday with George, Charlotte and Louis

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have no engagements scheduled for next week. And it is thought this is because their children are away from school for the holidays. Prince George, 6, and Prince Charlotte, 4, attend Thomas’s London Day School in Battersea, West London.

Their royal cousin, Miss Maud Windsor, also attends the prestigious school.

And Cara Delevigne and Florence Welch are amongst the famous faces who also attended in their youth.

The young Cambridges are currently in Year 2 and Reception respectively, but will be taking a break from attending next week.

The Cambridge family has previously used the February half-term to jet off abroad.

In 2016, before Prince Louis was born, the then family of four released a photograph of their getaway to the French Alps.

At the time, Prince George was two and Princess Charlotte, 10 months old.

More frequently though, the family spend time at their country home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk.

Last year, Kate used the break to take George and Charlotte to a luxury hotel for a swim.

The children were said to be confident and often swam unaided for the 30 minute trip.

Kate was even said to have organised a race for her son to take part in.

The ITV documentary, Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy, revealed Prince George was also a huge fan of farming.

The children are already playing on tractors and are said to love the outdoors.

This may make a trip to Anmer more likely.

Kate embarked on a mini-tour of Northern Ireland and Scotland recently, promoting her new online survey.

She visited a farm, before heading onto a cafe in Scotland which aims to address the issue of homelessness.

The ‘5 Big Questions on the Under Fives’ survey targets early years and education.

The Duchess of Cambridge has also made trips to Birmingham, Cardiff, London and Woking recently to promote the project.

Meanwhile, husband Prince William hosted a reception for the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund recently.

The event was held at St James’s Palace on Wednesday, where Princess Beatrice is set to wed her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in the spring.
