Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle became friends while the US actress filmed ‘Suits’ in Toronto, Canada. It’s claimed that the fashion stylist, 40, sheltered the star and Prince Harry from media attention when they first started dating by regularly inviting them over for dinner. At the royal couple’s nuptials in 2018, her twin sons were page boys and her daughter a flower girl. While many have claimed two are “BFFs” over the years, in recent times it has been speculated that their relationship has become strained. While the reason for their alleged fallout is unclear, they have not been seen out in public and recently Mulroney deleted a photo from the royal wedding shortly after she posted to Instagram. A previous post related to that exact moment from the nuptials, could reveal her true feelings about their friendship. 

The image that Mulroney deleted showed her son Brian, then seven, as he appeared to “photobomb” the bride as she walked down the aisle of St George’s Chapel, in Windsor. 

In reality, his father Ben revealed that the boy was overwhelmed by the amount of people waving at him and excitement peaked when he heard a trumpet play for the very first time.

His cheeky, gap-toothed smile went viral and was considered one of the highlights from the big day – which was watched by 1.9 billion people internationally. 

In Mulroney’s post last week, which she later deleted, MailOnline reported that she wrote: “When I feel dark and grey, I see this and it all goes away.”

She then altered it to read “I see this and pure joy”, before the photograph mysteriously vanished.

Many have since speculated that this may be an attempt to reach out to Meghan, voice her discontent or publicly reflect her feelings about the  royal wedding. 

However, this isn’t the first time Mulroney has made a U-turn on her captions related to that specific photograph. 

In a post on August 20, 2018, she shared a picture of herself, brothers Brian and John and her daughter Ivy all clad in white.

While the proud mother beamed at the camera, her children had chosen not to smile and were pulling amusing poses.

Ivy appeared to be frowning, while John squinted and Brian seemed to be replicating his now iconic gleeful smile from the  royal wedding. 

According to US Weekly, Mulroney initially captioned the shot: “That face Brian is making reminds me…”

This prompted a number of Instagram users to comment “cheeky boy, “classic Brian” and one wrote “gosh that same mouth again”.

But soon after Mulroney tweaked it to read: “Another day, another jumpsuit. That Brian face though.”

Some at the time speculated that the change was made to appease Meghan’s demand for privacy – an issue the royal has continued to complain about in recent years.

Despite this, the picture remains online and so, the deleted image could indicate a specific issue or problem related to the royal wedding itself. 

While Mulroney has not commented on the alteration, today (Sept 2) she wrote on her Instagram story: “I’m not worried about what people are saying. I’m worried about what I am doing.”
