A whopping £184 million jackpot is up for grabs tonight after nobody picked the winning numbers for Friday’s £172million EuroMillions top prize. If won, tonight’s record-breaking jackpot would top the highest UK win by a staggering amount.
The largest single win by a Brit stands at £170 million – which was won by an anonymous winner in October 2019.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: “Tuesday’s massive EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £184 million.
“If one UK winner banks the lot, they would instantly become the UK’s biggest ever National Lottery winner.
“Players are urged to get their tickets early to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize.”
What are the chances of bagging the top prize?
Despite such a tantalising prize on offer punters only have a slim chance of success.
Players have just a 1 in 139.8 million chance of securing the top prize.
But there are plenty of other smaller prizes to win if you don’t match the all-important seven numbers to secure the jackpot.
For example, one lucky Brit is guaranteed to walk away from tonight’s draw with £1 million, as all ticket holders are automatically entered into the UK’s millionaire maker.
Which numbers are most likely to win?
In a desperate attempt to nab the prize some players turn to previous draws to find out which numbers are most likely to win.
There have been more than 1,400 EuroMillion draws since the game’s creation in 2004.
According to lottery.co.uk the most frequently drawn main numbers from the period September 2019 to October 2021 are:
20, 23, 5, 27, 42.
The most frequently drawn lucky star numbers were 109 and 102.
Which numbers are least frequently drawn?
You may want to steer clear of these numbers if you want to boost your chances of success tonight.
From the period September 2019 to October 2021 the least frequently drawn numbers were:
22, 18, 40, 33, 36.
The least frequently drawn lucky star numbers were 10 and 1.
What numbers are most overdue?
If you are keen to hedge your bets on the numbers that have gone the longest period of time without appearing in a winning line, the following are the ones for you:
4, 40, 22, 16, 24. And for the lucky star numbers 4 and 11.
How do you play EuroMillions?
Tickets cost £2.50 each, to play you’ll need to pick five numbers from one to 50 and two lucky stars.
If you can’t make your mind up you can randomly select your numbers by opting for a Lucky Dip.
On each ticket you can play up to seven lines of numbers and up to 10 tickets can be bought at a time.
Tickets can be bought at most post offices, petrol stations, stores and supermarkets.
Players can also buy their tickets online via the National Lottery website or app.
