Boy, 1, had brain bleed after mum and her boyfriend 'beat him to death'

A mother who allegedly killed her son told doctors that he had fallen off a trampoline later admitted hitting him because he soiled his nappy.

Conner Perry, who was just 20 months old when he was murdered, was found with a broken jaw, missing teeth, cigarette burns and multiple injuries across his body.

His mom, Trinity Pittman, 23, took him to hospital saying he had been involved in an accident. He was transferred to a specialist children’s unit where they found a bleed on the brain and he later died from his injuries.

Detectives now believe Pittman’s boyfriend, Jeremy Davis, is also responsible for Conner’s death, in Georgia, last October.

Davis, 25, who lived with Pittman, allegedly beat Conner while he was meant to be taking care of him, when his mum was at work.

He was charged on Friday with murder, child cruelty and aggravated battery after being accused of ‘severely’ beating Conner.

Pittman also faces a murder and child cruelty charge.

Doctors found evidence of both fresh and old wounds suggesting Conner had been abused over a period of time, according to an arrest report.

Investigators are still trying to determine how or with what Davis allegedly attacked the boy – but he is said to have hit him so hard it ‘worsened existing brain damage, including cranial bleeding’, reports claim.

Both Pittman and Davis are currently being held in custody at Coweta County Jail in Georgia.
