Who is Condoleezza Rice and how old is she?

Rice, is known as an American diplomat, political scientist, civil servant, and professor who is currently serving as the director of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

As a member of the Republican Party, Rice got her start in politics back in 1989 when she served as the Senior Director of Soviet and East European Affairs.

In 2001, she was then named the National Security Advisor of the United States, a position she held until 2005, when she then became the 66th United States Secretary of State.

After serving as the Secretary of State for four years, she then retired from politics saying that she has "absolutely zero" desire to working in Washington DC again, adding it's now time for younger generations to take up positions of leadership.

Born November 14, 1954, Rice is 66 years old.

What did Condoleezza Rice say about Colin Powell?

On October 20, 2021, Rice appeared on The View and touched on various controversial topics, including the January 6 insurrection, race, and the death of Colin Powell, who passed away just days before, on October 18, after suffering complication from the coronavirus.

While on the show, Rice honored his life, saying that the US “lost a great American patriot.”

She later added: “Colin will be remembered for his integrity, he will be remembered for his dignity, and he will be remembered by me as just a really, really great friend.”

Despite honoring the politician's life, Rice then faced backlash after many viewers were upset that she was “disrespectful” about the Capitol Riots on January 6 and about the critical race theory subject.

Speaking out about the riots Rice said: “Our institutions have to be upheld.”

“What happened on January 6th was wrong. 

“I also know that as a government and as a country, we’ve got to be concerned about the things that are making life hard for Americans and hard for American families.”

Rice then gave her opinion about teaching critical race theory in schools, noting: “The way we're talking about race is that it either seems so big that somehow white people now have to feel guilty for everything that happened in the past.

"I don't think that's very productive of black people feel disempowered by race.

Fans later said that she was was “out of touch” with the reality of life.

Is Condoleezza Rice married?

Throughout her life, Rice has never been married and she also doesn't have any children.

In her 2010 memoir, Condoleezza Rice: A Memoir of My Extraordinary, Ordinary Family and Me, the former politician touched upon her relationship status, recalling a relationship she had with a football player in college, and later writing that she never married because she just hasn't found the right one.

As of 2021, Rice is reportedly single.
