Toddler dies after being found unresponsive at house as police launch probe into death | The Sun
POLICE have launched a probe over the death of a toddler found unresponsive at home.
The 18-month-old girl was rushed to hospital from a property in Preston, Lancashire, on March 15.
Tragically she couldn't be saved and died six days later at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
Police have now launched an investigation into the little girl's death.
A post mortem is due to be carried out to establish how she died, and no arrests have been made.
Lancashire Police said: "We were called by the ambulance service at around 1.15pm on Wednesday, March 15 to a report that an 18-month-old girl had been found unresponsive at an address on Kings Drive in Fulwood.

“Emergency services attended and the girl was taken to Royal Preston Hospital before later being transferred to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, but she sadly died on the morning of March 21.
"Our thoughts are with the girl’s loved ones at this time."
