Thursday's UK weather forecast — early frost and cloud clears to warm spells of sunshine except in the northwest
FROSTY start for some, particularly in the southwest, but warm spells of sunshine after fog and cloud clears pretty much everywhere except in the northwest, as the far northwest will be lashed by rain and gales.
Friday will be pleasantly warm for many, with sunny spells. Patchy rain will slowly move southeastwards over the weekend, bringing colder but brighter weather by Sunday.

UK outlook for Monday April 1 to Wednesday April 10
A CHILLY but fine start next week with frost likely in central and southern areas on Monday, and showers in the north which will bring some snow to the hills.
Wet and windy spells through the week, mainly in the northwest, where some wintry showers are possible. Some rain in the south too at times, but more in the way of dry weather around.
Into the following week, the weather could become more widely settled. Fairly cold through the period, with some overnight frost likely, but warmer in the afternoons where sunny spells occur.
