A TEENAGER has died after a van being chased by cops in Manchester went off the road and crashed into a wall last night.

The unnamed man, 19, failed to stop for officers while driving the silver Vauxhall sparking a high-speed pursuit at 11.40pm, police said.

A local resident said they heard a vehicle travelling at speed followed by blaring sirens and then a “huge” bang.

The witness went to the scene where they saw emergency workers performing CPR on the teenager.
