This is the heart-stopping moment a reckless driver on the wrong side of the road nearly ploughs straight into a family car.
Julie Edwards was driving with her children in the car in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, when she approached a roundabout on August 28 at around 1pm.
Her dashcam captures the moment she was in the right-hand lane with a lorry in the left while cars were stationary at the roundabout.

All of a sudden, a Volkswagen comes racing out on the wrong side of the road, squeezing past the car on to the kerb.
Ms Edwards immediately slams on the brakes as the Volkswagen continues at a break-neck speed down the road.
The car fortunately misses Ms Edwards ‘by inches’ and narrowly avoided the lorry on the other side.
The footage shows her remaining still for a few minutes before gathering herself to continue her journey.
