The co-owner of a pub whose smoking area played host to a knickerless woman squatting on the face of a bloke for a £100 bet has finally spoken out, saying that he is "totally disgusted" by what happened.

A clip, thought to have been shot on the hottest day of the year so far, last week June 17, shocked the internet and went viral after being posted on Twitter.

The police said they were appealing for more information and now, Glyn Morgan, co-owner of Chinnerys in Southend, Essex has spoken out.

He said: “We are totally disgusted by this event, none of our staff witnessed this.

“We work hard to run a family friendly live venue and pub, and in our opinion, people like this are not welcome in Southend and certainly not in Chinnerys.”

In the shocking video, several blokes cheer on the woman as she begins to squat, with one yelling "100 quid, go, go!" as the man recording repeats the figure.

The woman, who looks to be in her mid to late forties, then covers her face and squats as the group of men cheer.

She then appears to gyrate on the younger man's face, before someone shouts "Oh! She's loving it."

Some people cover their faces in disbelief while others laugh.

Essex Police told the Daily Star on Wednesday, June 22: "We are aware of a video being shared online that shows a woman and a man acting inappropriately at a premises in Marine Parade, Southend."

At one point in the clip two men in high vis jackets appear behind the fences, apparently ready to intervene.

The woman is then seen quickly pulling up her underwear. However, Essex Police said it wasn't their officers.

"As this was not reported to us in real-time, we did not attend the scene," a spokesperson said.

Whilst public sex acts are not specifically illegal, according to Sexual Offences Act 2003, indecent exposure could be recognised as a type of sexual crime.

A person found to be displaying parts of themselves in a public space could be considered as morally unacceptable and may even be offensive to others.

The act of exposing oneself whether alone or with another in a wooded area or spaces which can easily be seen by others, is considered indecent.

The police spokesperson added: "Anyone with information can submit a report online at https://www.essex.police.uk or use the 'Live Chat' button to speak to an online operator between 7am-11pm.

Chinnerys did not respond to several requests for comment.
