Prince Andrew has been pictured chuckling as he encountered a female jogger on the way to his weekly Windsor horse-riding trip today.
Sitting behind the wheel of his black Range Rover, the Duke of York was captured slowing down for the runner and beaming as she raised her hand to thank him.
In another photo the prince is seen pulling a more sombre expression as he points to something in the distance.
It comes after an eventful week for Prince Andrew, during which his brother King Charles reportedly offered him the keys to Frogmore Cottage after evicting the Sussexes from the five-bedroom home, following hurt over the couple’s treatment of the royal family.
However, since finding out the King is planning budget cuts to royal funds, the disgraced Duke has refused to leave his current digs – the 30-bedroom Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Insiders said the 63-year-old even offered to be in charge of running some of the Royal Family’s much-loved estates, including Queen Elizabeth’s beloved summer residence, Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire – as part of his negotiations to leave his Royal mansion.
Sources also claimed that the Duke pleaded with the King for an increased Royal responsibility as he feels ‘he deserves to still be treated like a senior royal’.
One insider said: ‘Andrew is insisting on having a job despite being made to stand down from his duties and now he’s being kicked out of his home,’ according to The Mirror.
They added that the King is in disagreement with his brother and ‘has told him straight, there is no chance of that happening’.

The Duke of York reportedly told friends he is unlikely to be able to maintain upkeep of his Windsor home (pictured) without receiving hundreds of thousands of pounds every year from the King
In recent weeks, the King has apparently asked all members of the royal family to cut back and anticipate less money from the Duchy – now owned by Charles.
But this week Prince Andrew said he does not want to leave his mansion in the grounds of Windsor Castle, despite telling friends he fears he will be unable to afford its upkeep if the King cuts his £250,000-a-year grant.
The Duke of York currently pays a reported £250-a-week for a state-subsidised 30-room mansion complete with 98 acres of land and a swimming pool – and is not keen to leave it after 20 years.
Today, the Duke was also pictured with a huge smile on his face while riding his horse alongside his grooms.
