‘Machete attack’ outside Greggs as man rushed urgently to hospital

A man has been rushed to hospital after "suffering multiple" injuries after being stabbed in London.
The victim was stabbed in Broadway, West Ealing just after 1pm and was taken to hospital as a priority, London Ambulance Service has said.
A heavy police presence was reported in West Ealing following the incident, with initial reports on social media suggesting the man had been attacked by a machete.
Met Police confirmed the man's injuries are still being assessed by medics and that two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
In a statement, Ealing Police tweeted: "Stabbing in Ealing.
"Police were called to reports of a stabbing at 1.03pm on Monday, November 9, at The Broadway, Ealing.
"Police and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended.
"A 21-year-old man was found with stab wound injuries. He has now been taken to a London hospital.
"His injuries are still being assessed by medics.
"Two males have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have been taken to a West London police station.
"A crime scene has been established and is in place.
"Enquiries are continuing."
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.03pm today – November – to reports of a stabbing on Broadway, W13.
"We sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer.
"A man was treated at the scene for multiple injuries and taken to hospital as a priority."
Locals took to social media to warn others to avoid the area following the incident.
One person tweeted: "Machete attack in West Ealing – armed police on scene (near Lidl). Avoid the area if you can."
Another wrote: "Apparently someone has been attacked with a machete in West Ealing today."
Mirror Online reports that a resident, who asked to remain anonymous, claims that the attack took place outside Greggs bakery in West Ealing Broadway, and left one man seriously injured.
