High school student appalls class mates turning up for lunch wearing 'Ku Klux Klan headwear'
STUDENTS at a US high school were left shocked when one of their classmates came to lunch wearing a Ku Klux Klan style hood.
Some were so appalled they filmed the pupil in his get-up and posted the pictures on social media.
According to CBS, the incident happened at Kern High School in California.
Aiden Reed was one of several students and hoped it would get attention.
He told the network: “I started Snapchatting it because that was terrible. I did not like that one bit."
The school district said it knew about the picture, and didn't tolerate that type of conduct.
The district added it investigated and resolved the incident.
At least one student was suspended.
