The fake German billionaire heiress who is currently on trial in New York for fraud has a stylist who is dressing her in labels including Yves Saint Laurent, Michael Kors and Victoria Beckham for her courtroom appearances. 

Anna Sorokin, also known as her alias Anna Delvey, is currently on trial in Manhattan Supreme Court accused of swindling various people and businesses out of tens of thousands of dollars in a 10-month odyssey for a taste of the high life. 

The one-time darling of the New York City social scene turned heads on the first day of her trial on Wednesday when she showed up to court in a sleek, low cut black Michael Kors dress and a choker. 

It was a stark contrast to the Rikers Island prison uniform and unkempt appearance she sported during an earlier court date.

It’s since emerged that her attorneys have enlisted the services of stylist Anastasia Walker who has worked with the likes of Courtney Love, T-Pain, and G-Eazy.

The black low cut dress Sorokin wore on Wednesday was from Michael Kors, which she paired with a beige sweater later in the afternoon. 

The outfit Sorokin wore on Thursday was an Yves Saint Laurent blouse and Victoria Beckham pants.  

‘It is imperative that Anna dress appropriately for the trial. Anna’s style was a driving force in her business, and life, and it is a part of who she is,’ her attorney Todd Spodek told GQ.

‘I want the jury to see that side of her and enlisted a stylist to assist in selecting the appropriate outfits for trial.’

Her attorneys had also reportedly tried to get her into stilettos but the Department of Corrections deemed them to be too dangerous. 

An Instagram account titled AnnaDelveyCourtLooks has since been created and features two variations of the outfit she wore during the first day of the trial.

It is not clear who is paying for Sorokin’s designer court outfits. 

During the trial on Wednesday, the jury heard that Sorokin lived in luxury New York hotel rooms she couldn’t afford, promised a friend an all-expenses paid trip to Morocco and then stuck her with the $62,000 bill, and peddled bogus bank statements in a quest for a $22 million loan.

Sorokin’s attorney said she never intended to commit a crime. 

Spodek told jurors in an opening statement that Sorokin was exploiting a system that was ‘easily seduced by glamour and glitz’ after she saw how the appearance of wealth opened doors. 

He said his client was merely buying time so she could launch a business and repay her debts. 

‘Anna had to fake it until she could make it,’ Spodek said. 

‘Sinatra said, ‘I will make a brand new start in New York, if I can make it there, I can make it anywhere’ because the opportunities in New York are endless.

‘Anna had to kick down the door to get her chance at life. Just like Sinatra had to do it his way, Anna had to do it her way.’

Sorokin, jailed since her arrest, faces deportation to Germany regardless of the outcome of the trial because authorities say she overstayed her visa. 

Her story, however, may stick around given Netflix and HBO are both developing shows about Sorokin.

Sorokin made headlines after it emerged she had been posing as Anna Delvey – the heiress daughter of a fictitious billionaire magnate.

She is accused of duping elite circles in Manhattan from 2013 until 2018. 

Sorokin allegedly talked banks into lending her money to start the ‘Anna Delvey Foundation’ and skipped out on bills at the end of a weeks-long stays in some of New York’s finest hotels.  

She also targeted individuals who she believed would serve her well and got them to pay for things with the promise that she would eventually give them the money back, it is claimed.

Sorokin denies the charges and insists she was always trying to be seen as a businesswoman.
