BREAKING Woman in 20s stabbed to death in Camden in horror late night attack

A woman, believed to be aged in her early 20s, was stabbed to death in Camden in a horror late night attack on Sunday.

Cops scrambled to Belmont Street at 11.13pm last night after receiving reports of a stabbing.

The woman was found stabbed on the street, along with two other women who had suffered slash injuries.

Cops immediately provided first aid until paramedics arrived, but medics were unable to save her.

She was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:55pm.

A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in custody at a north London police station.

A Met Police spokesman said: "While a formal identification has yet to take place, police are confident that the victim’s identity is known and next of kin have been informed.

"A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course. Two other women were found with slash injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

"They were taken to hospital for treatment. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command have been informed."

It comes as a man in his 20s was fatally shot in north London last night.

Emergency services found the victim with a gunshot wound just after midnight just around the corner from the stabbing, in Kentish Town.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has not yet been identified, and the area has since been cordoned off as police carry out their probe.

Yesterday, a man in his 20s shot himself dead in a freak incident outside a bank in Sydenham , south-east London.

It is believed a bullet bounced off a car window before fatally wounding the gunman.
