Rob Roberts was stripped of the Tory whip after a complaints panel found he abused his position and broke sexual misconduct rules. He apologised and said the “breach of trust” was “completely improper and should not have happened”.
His former staffer told BBC Wales he was left “uncomfortable” and “shocked” by Mr Roberts’ behaviour.
An independent panel found the MP made “repeated and unwanted advances” to the man.
Mr Roberts insisted his actions were “romantic” rather than sexual.
Last year the MP for Delyn, north Wales, split from his wife and said he was gay. MPs must approve the suspension.
