Hell hath no fury like a hawk in the sky.

A pet owner sprung to action after a red-tailed hawk swooped from above and began attacking her small puppy.

Lulu, a two pound toy Yorkie, was strolling in her backyard at the time of the attack, according to Fox 5 Las Vegas.

The video shows the feathered beast clutching Lulu with its talons and brutally dragging her a few feet across a patio.

Owner Cecilia Celis yelled at the hawk, telling it to leave her pup alone, but the bird wasn’t taking any lip.

Celis told Fox 5 that the raptor responded by “staring me in the eyes.”

Next, she went on the offensive.

In desperation, Celis grabbed a lawn chair pillow and whacked the savage fowl three times until it conceded and flew away.

Lulu was in good health following the skirmish, but earned a few battle scars after she was clawed in the neck.

Celis said her family’s property still presented a danger for her two dogs — the hawk remained perched in the surroundings after the tussle.

“At first, we thought our backyard was the safest place for them,” Celis said. “But now we have to keep the door open, just in case. And then we stay out here and watch them.”
