Pelosi says U.S. House to vote March 26 on overriding Trump border-wall related veto
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Friday the chamber will vote on March 26 on overriding President Donald Trump’s veto of a border-wall related resolution.
Accusing Trump of a “lawless power grab,” Pelosi said in a statement: “On March 26, the House will once again act to protect our Constitution and our democracy from the president’s emergency declaration by holding a vote to override his veto.”
