Mets’ worry over Jed Lowrie’s knee is growing
The soreness in Jed Lowrie’s knee is concerning enough that he is expected to have an MRI exam on Thursday.
The Mets infielder said he has been dealing with the discomfort in recent days as he was ramping up baseball activity. The Mets began limiting that activity Wednesday.
Lowrie is expected to see significant time all around the Mets infield after signing a two-year, $20 million deal this offseason.
