LENSAR Announces FDA Clearance For Its Next-generation ALLY Adaptive Cataract Treatment System
LENSAR, Inc. (LNSR), a commercial-stage medical device company, announced FDA 510(k) clearance for next-generation ALLY Adaptive Cataract Treatment System. ALLY is the first FDA-cleared platform to enable cataract surgeons to complete the femtosecond-laser-assisted cataract surgery procedure in a single, sterile environment.
LENSAR plans to deliver the first ALLY Systems to surgeons in the third quarter of the current year through a controlled and targeted initial launch. Also, the company
plans to make ALLY widely available to cataract surgeons in 2023.
Plane lands on Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood
A plane landed near the fourth hole on the Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood on Monday morning.
Although golfers were playing at the time of the landing, nobody in the plane or on the golf course was injured, officials told Denver7.
AirTracker7 captured a video of the plane’s landing, where it looks as though there was little to no damage done to the aircraft.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and Lakewood Police Department are working to collect more details.

Inhibikase To Continue To Advance 201 Trial Following FDA Review
Inhibikase Therapeutics, Inc. (IKT) said the company is advancing phase 2a study of IkT-148009 in untreated Parkinson’s patients following review of the study protocol and phase 1/1b data by the FDA. Inhibikase stated that following a review of IkT-148009 safety, tolerability and PK data in the first two cohorts of the 101 trial in Parkinson’s patients at 50 and 100 mg as well as the 201 trial protocol, the FDA agreed with the company’s view that proceeding with the 201 trial was appropriate without restrictions.
Milton Werner, CEO, said: “We are very pleased to open enrollment in our 201 trial, just 17 months from the first-in-human dose of IkT-148009. This study will allow us to further evaluate the long-term safety and potential benefit of IkT-148009 in patients with Parkinson’s disease. With our first two trial sites actively screening patients, we expect to dose the first patient in the 201 trial by the end of the second quarter.”
Redbox Entertainment Rally Continues
Redbox Entertainment Inc. (RDBX) shares are trading more than 30 percent higher on Monday morning trade after the company continuing an upsurge since mid of May. Shares are trading at a year-to-date high on the day.
The shares of the company that operates a network of self-service kiosks in the United States are currently at $17.19, up 30.72 percent, from the previous close of $13.20 on a volume of 15,644,645. For the 52-week period, the shares have traded in a range of $1.61-$30.72 on average volume of 18,972,338.
Ukraine Imposes Sanctions Against Putin, Kremllin Officials
Ukraine has imposed sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin and top Kremlin officials.
The sanctions, announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday, targets Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his deputies, all ministers, and Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Nikolai Patrushev.
A presidential decree signed by Zelensky blocks the assets of the designated individuals and bans their entry into Ukraine.
The sanctions also cancel or suspend the licenses and permits of the targeted persons.
Meanwhlie, Valentyn Reznichenko, head of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region military administration, said that dozens of civilians were killed as Russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in Kryvyi Rih, Zelenodolsk and Shyrokiv.
Five people were killed and 14 were injured in Russian attacks in Kharkiv.
Ukrainian forces are fighting a fierce battle for the key eastern city of Severodonetsk. The city is now mostly under the control of the Russian forces.
Zelensky said Ukrainian forces are holding on to key frontline cities in Donbas.
“Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, and other cities in Donbas, which the occupiers now consider key targets, are holding on,” he said in an address to the nation Thursday night.
Hillstream BioPharma Surges 75% On Stock Buyback Plan
Shares of nano-cap company Hillstream BioPharma, Inc. (HILS) are surging over 75% on Monday morning after the company announced share repurchase program.
HILS is currently trading at $1.41, up $0.61 or 76.25%, on the Nasdaq, on a heavy volume of 28.8 million shares, above average volume of 0.3 million. The stock has traded between $0.65 and $4.24 in the past 52-week period.
Hillstream BioPharma announced that its has authorized a share repurchase program to acquire up to $1 million of the company’s common stock.
As of March 31, 2022, Hillstream had approximately $11.1 million in cash and 11.4 million shares of common stock outstanding.
