Zara Tindall’s husband Mike shares heartwarming photo on Instagram – ‘Memory lane’

Mike recently joined Instagram and has managed to garner an impressive 16,000 followers. Unlike other members of the Royal Family, Mike shares more candid photos on social media which include selfies and pictures of food.

Mike has also managed to post 33 times since he joined Instagram in September.

Most recently, he posted a photo of him and his old England rugby teammates on the social media site with a heartwarming caption.

The post read: “Great walk down memory lane of 16 years ago with these guys for BBC 5 Live.

“Massive week for this current bunch hopefully next week they will be reflecting on a fantastic win.”

According to the photo’s location, the men were in Tokyo with BBC 5 Live.

Fans on Twitter were quick to support the former rugby player and his old team.

One fan said: “What a pic!”

Another said: “Legend!”

Another fan admiringly said: “Truly amazing mate.”

It comes as Zara and Mike shared an adorable selfie ahead of a reunion with Prince Harry in Japan.

Zara flew to Japan to spend time with her husband Mike ahead of the World Cup final, as revealed by the former rugby player when he shared a cute picture of the couple on Instagram.

Zara and Mike were all smiles in the heartwarming and relaxed selfie posted by him on his account.

The picture shows the former rugby player holding the camera with one hand and his free arm wrapped around his wife.

Zara, who wears sunglasses, holds Mike’s hand and rested her head on his shoulder.

The picture was taken in a busy Japanese street, with skyscrapers and shops clearly visible behind the Tindalls.

The loved-up pair are still in Japan ahead of the Rugby World Cup final, which will be played on Saturday and sees England facing South Africa.

And they aren’t the only royals there: Princess Anne’s only son, Peter Phillips, has also joined his sister and brother-in-law in Japan, according to another picture shared by Mike.

Peter can be seen taking a selfie framing a long table at a sushi restaurant where he is enjoying a meal with, among other guests, Mike and Zara.

The number of members of the Royal Family in Japan is set to grow even further later this week.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Prince Harry will be at the International Stadium Yokohama on Saturday to cheer for England as the team’s patron.

The English rugby team sealed a place in the final on Saturday last weekend, after winning 19 – 7 against New Zealand, the reigning champions.

The Duke of Sussex wholeheartedly congratulated “our boys” via his own official Instagram account.
