Former England rugby star Mike Tindall announced earlier this week that he will be travelling around the country on tour with his podcast, “The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby,” and its cohosts. Mike said: “We can’t wait to get on the road, with more tales from our rugby lives, and to meet our listeners – and maybe hear a few stories from them.”

This may mean that Zara, the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, could require a helping hand with the childcare arrangements for the couple’s three children.

With Mike on tour and Zara still maintaining her successful equestrian career, the Princess Royal may continue to be seen with her young grandchildren at the Cotswold estate where they all live.

The couple has welcomed Mia, 7, Lena, 3, and most recently, six-month-old baby Lucas.

Being mother to three young children, however, has not stopped Zara, 40, from jumping back into her equestrian career as well as balancing family life.

She won a silver medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games, which was presented to her by her mother, Princess Anne.

The Tindalls currently reside at Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire with the Princess Royal, which has been Princess Anne’s residence since the 1970s.

In 1976, the Queen purchased Gatcombe Park for her daughter and her then-husband, and Zara’s father, Captain Mark Philips.

Zara and Mike moved to Gatcombe just before Mia was born, who is Princess Anne’s third grandchild.

Zara, a professional equestrian, has numerous horses stabled on the Gatcombe estate, with Princess Anne frequently holding equestrian events on the grounds.

The estate consists of the main house – where Princess Anne resides – and other royal homes, such as the Tindall’s, are dotted around the 700-acre royal estate.

Over the years, Princess Anne has been photographed playing with, and looking after, her grandchildren many times.

It has also been said that Zara and Mike have taken on the same parenting style as that which Princess Anne adopted with Zara and her brother, Peter Philips.

Elaine Soller, Head of Customer Experience at Babysense told Express.co.uk: “Zara Tindall was raised by a very hands-on mother who declined to give her children a royal title, thereby enabling Zara and her brother to have as normal a life as possible.”

She added: “This upbringing is clearly evident and reflects in Zara’s own parenting style.”

Ms Soller commented: “Zara and Mike also encourage their kids’ interest in horse riding to further foster their connection with animals, something that is deeply rooted in all of their familial traditions.”

Just last week, Zara was seen at a season-opening event at Cheltenham Racecourse, keeping up her affinity for equestrian-related royal appearances.

Despite being the Queen’s great-grandchildren, Zara and Mike’s children will not have royal titles, as tradition dictates that they are passed down through male lines.

Zara is not a working member of the royal family, which has permitted her to forge her own career, which will also be the case for Mia, Lena, and Lucas.

Zara and Mike met in 2003 and were later married in Edinburgh in 2011.
