‘Worse than May’s deal!’ Jeremy Corbyn plans to BLOCK Boris’s deal already – fears No Deal
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn announced that he was worried Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s actions and behaviour over the last few weeks was in service of his desire for a no deal Brexit. Mr Corbyn also attacked the Prime Minister for his absence from the Commons and scrutiny from the Opposition. Mr Corbyn argued that Boris Johnson’s deal was also considerably worse than Theresa May’s.
While speaking to Sky News he said: “Everything to do with his behaviour and his language over the past few weeks has been about getting a no deal Brexit.
“I think the very least he could do is come to the House of Commons tomorrow to explain what his proposals are and to answer questions on them.
“We will be able to tell him quite clearly that we believe this deal is not acceptable.
“We do believe that a much better deal can be reached with the European Union.

“It could then be put to the British people to have the final say with an option for that deal and an option of Remaining in the EU.”
Earlier in the interview Mr Corbyn criticised Mr Johnson’s deal on what he believes would cause issues with the Good Friday agreement.
He said: “It is worse than Theresa May’s deal.
“I can’t see it getting the support that he thinks it will get.
“It will take us into a regime in Britain of deregulation, undercutting and I also think it will undermine the Good Friday agreement.”
Mr Corbyn was then asked to explain what specifically about the deal made it worse than the previous Prime Minister’s.
He replied: “What is worse is particularly the section on Northern Ireland.
“It is very unspecific how the Good Friday Agreement can be upheld within the terms of the letter that he has sent.

“But also much worse is the specific intention to deregulate alongside Europe.
“Whereas in fact, while we were negotiating with Theresa May government they did agree to some extent of regulation.
“Our talks broke down because they were not strong enough on environmental regulation.
“But this Prime Minister seems to want to lead to a deregulated Britain with a race to the bottom.”
