A motorist was rushed to hospital after her legs became crushed between a Range Rover Evoke and a Mercedes during confrontation.

The woman could be seen wedged between the cars at around 8.15pm last night in footage shot from a bus on Hyde Park Corner in central London.

The driver of the black Mercedes, believed to be a taxi, was Tasered and arrested at the scene and someone else jumped into the blue Evoke to reverse it.

As he does so, the woman is lowered to the ground, obviously in pain.

It is not known what the dispute was about, but the woman is said to have got out of the light blue Range Rover and the driver of the Mercedes then hit her while trying to drive away.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘At this early stage it is believed she was the occupant of a car who became involved in a dispute with another car.

‘She had got out of her car before being struck by the other car as it attempted to drive away.

‘An altercation occurred after the collision and one man – no further details – was arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray.

‘He has been taken into police custody after a Taser was discharged during the arrest.’
