Woman admits racist attack on Wetherspoon's bouncer and spitting at him
A woman who went viral after being captured on video shouting racist abuse at a black doorman has admitted racially aggravated common assault.
Sharna Walker was told she could be jailed following the incident in Birmingham in May, when she also spat at the Weatherspoons bouncer.
Walker can be heard calling Tristan Price the n word and a black c*** during the tirade outside The Figure of Eight in the Broad Street leisure district.
At Birmingham Magistrates Court on Wednesday, the 25-year-old, from Worcester, pleaded guilty to the charge and to causing criminal damage to a door.
Walker, who began ranting on Saturday, May 22, was seen pushing the doorman in the footage, which was widely shared and watched more than 2.5 million times.
The video attracted widespread condemnation and revulsion.
While Mr Price remains calm throughout the altercation, Walker appears to push him and calls him a ‘black c***’.

She then repeatedly shouts ‘f***ing n*****’, before spitting at him.
Mr Price said the incident was worse than being threatened with a knife.
Walker was arrested two days after the incident, before being banned from Birmingham as part of her bail conditions and barred from Weatherspoons.
Defence solicitor Judith Kenney told the court: ‘I acknowledge that this (offence) starts at a custody level.
‘What I would seek to do, dependent on the medical evidence, is to seek to persuade the court to suspend the sentence.
‘I’m no medic myself but there is some indication that in my experience there is some red flags.’
Appearing in the dock wearing a long black coat, Walker – carrying a handbag and with sunglasses on her forehead – was granted unconditional bail until an administrative hearing on October 27 by District Judge Briony Clarke.
She spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address, and bowed her head as she entered her guilty pleas.
But following the incident she had insisted she was not racist before saying everyone is ‘entitled to freedom of speech’ and that ‘they shouldn’t be abused for it’.
She also posted on Instagram: ‘I would just like to publicly apologise for the situation that happened at the nightclub and I would like everyone to know that I am infact [sic] not racist at all.
‘I have several black co-workers who I love dearly and have even dated black men.
‘I was seriously drunk out of my head that night and upset because I wanted to get into the lounge when I had left my ID in the car which was parked over a mile away.
‘I was in my heels and couldn’t get my ID and clearly look over 18 but was still refused access to the bar which is why I was angry but I understand that doesn’t justify my words.’
District Judge Briony Clarke told her on Wednesday: ‘You have pleaded guilty to these offences for which you will be given credit in due course but you cannot be sentenced today.
‘Ms Kenny is seeking a report on your behalf and you will required to meet her on October 27 at 10am.
‘A further administrative hearing will be fixed on November 22 to arrange sentencing.
‘You will be not be required to attend that hearing but must attend your sentencing hearing.’
Chief Inspector James Spencer, of West Midlands Police, said previously: ‘It’s an awful incident and people are understandably disgusted.’
A Wetherspoons spokesman said: ‘This behaviour is completely unacceptable and the woman is barred for life.’
