Kate Middleton: Royal experts praise her parenting skills

Prince William and Princess Kate are said to be bucking the trend in royal parenting by spending ample time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Recently Princess Kate brought all three of her children to a royal engagement, where they helped her pack up presents for families in need.

The moment caught the attention of Royally Obsessed co-host Roberta Fiorito. Speaking about the outing, she said: “I felt such an authenticity between Kate and her children, it speaks to her level of involvement as a parent, and William’s, too, just that the kids seem to have a really strong relationship.”

She added: “I don’t think you can fake that, and their interactions with their mom are very apparent in those videos.”

The royal expert said that William and Kate appear to be “bucking the royal parenting trend” with their hands-on style.

Royal expert Tom Quinn agreed. He said: “I think really, the biggest change in child-raising in the Royal Family, has happened with Kate and William.”

The author added: “I think, everything will change, they’ve both been much more involved with the practical business of caring for the children, and I should say, there’s been a lot of resistance in the Royal Family to that, all of these efforts to persuade them to do much more of what’s historically been done, even though everyone knows it’s damaging.”

Prince William and Prince Harry grew up with nannies, which was the norm for the Royal Family.

Kate, on the other hand, grew up differently, which is one of the reasons William was drawn to her, says Quinn.

Prince William and Princess Kate have three children together: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis 5.

The couple are regularly accompanied by their children at royal engagements and events.
