William and Harry ‘totally estranged’ as relationship ‘on ice’
Royals: Expert Tina Brown on Harry and William ahead of coronation
A royal commentator has confirmed rumours surrounding the feuding royal brothers and claimed the pair have grown “totally estranged”, with their relationship “on absolute ice”. Appearing on LBC’s Tonight with Andrew Marr, royal commentator and author Tina Brown told host Mr Marr she doubts the two royal brothers will make any contact over the Coronation weekend as Prince Harry travels to this side of the Atlantic for the historic day.
Following the Duke of Sussex’s bombshell memoir and claims made in several interviews, his relationship with his brother is said to be strained.
Tina Brown said: “They are totally estranged. I do not think there will be any contact between them at the Coronation.
“I think that their relationship right now is on absolute ice.
“The longer Harry dwells on what happened in his life, the more he feels resentment against William, because he feels, I think, that William was even more calculated, essentially, in making him number two, making him the spare, and feel like the spare at all times.
“So, there’s no contact between them, I’m told.”
Ms Brown added that she believed their father, King Charles, wishes to set things right between the pair.
But any resolution will likely “take years”.
She continued: “It never happened between George VI and the Duke of Windsor, it just got worse.

“Alienations tend to get worse as time goes by, rather than better.”
Prince Harry will be attending the Coronation on May 6 at Westminster Abbey without his wife Meghan Markle who will remain in California with their two young children.
It’s unlikely that Harry be at a celebratory concert at Buckingham Palace as part of the post-Coronation festivities.
Sources revealed he plans to leave soon after the ceremony ends to fly back to the US, where the time difference could allow him to be with his son, Archie, on hs fourth birthday.
