Will Elon Musk ban Father Christmas sleigh tracker from Twitter for 'doxxing'?
Is Father Christmas in danger of getting banned from Twitter?
Every year, the team at NORAD track the location of Santa Clause’s sleigh as it makes its way around the globe.
But this year, we may not get to follow his route as he delivers presents to all the boys and girls – because of a new rule from Elon Musk.
The billionaire CEO of Twitter has instituted a new rule that bans real-time location sharing, or ‘doxxing’, as a secuirty risk.
It came after a stalker followed a car containing his baby son in Los Angeles, believing Musk himself was there.
But could this spell the end for Santa? It’s what everyone wants to know.

Retweeting NORAD’s Santa Tracker is now punishable by death. Sorry, I don’t make the rules.
BREAKING: The NORAD Santa Flight Tracker has not tweeted since 2021.
It is unclear if this is a result of Elon Muskâs push to suspend live-location tracking of flights and celebrities.

NORAD usually monitors aerospace in event of nuclear attack, but over the last 60 years the American organisation has tipped their Santa hats to sharing the whereabouts of Father Christmas as a bit of festive fun over the holidays.
At the time of writing, the organisation’s Santa tracker Twitter account was still live – but it hasn’t posted anything since last December.
Even if it can’t post updates on Twitter, we’ll certainly be able to go directly to the NORAD website this year to follow Santa’s progress.
