Westminster fire: Panic as six fire engines scramble to huge blaze at London Tube station

The London Fire Brigade wrote on Twitter: “Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters are at the scene of a fire at Westminster Station on Bridge Street in #Westminster. More information to follow.” The station has been evacuated and a cordon put in place. It is not yet clear what has caused the fire.
Westminster station is served by the Circle, District and Jubilee lines.
But according to the Trnasport for London (TfL) website, there is no disruption to these Tube lines.
Several people have taken to Twitter to describe the emergency at the popular London Underground station.
Twitter user @AKAMaryPalmer wrote: “Westminster station now. Evacuated. Putting a cordon on Canon Row.
“Police and fire engines outside station and Portcullis House.”
