‘We’re watching!’ Brexit Party MEP sends dire warning to MPs in brilliant case for no deal
The newly-elected Brexit Party MEP told the BBC Any questions? audience and listeners she believed the solution to the Brexit impasse will be her party’s pressure on the Government to deliver on the promise the UK will leave the EU on October 31 with or without a deal. Ms de Lucy argued a no deal scenario remained the only offer left on the negotiating table following the humiliating triple rejection of Theresa May’s deal.
She said: “No one is giving people a voice except for the Brexit Party right now and we are here to put pressure on the Government to say you’re not going to get away with fobbing ourselves.
“You’re not going to get away with any more chaos, any more delay.
“We’re watching you and we’re going to make sure you deliver a good and clean Brexit as soon as possible and we’re out on the 31st of October.
“We are a democratic country, we need Brexit implemented.
No deal is the only Brexit right now on the table and on offer

“No deal is the only Brexit right now on the table and on offer and all the scaremongering and project fear that we’ve been drip-fed over the last five years has not put people off.
“It may be that Parliament may not be keen on a no deal but the voters keep on voting to leave.”
Ms de Lucy said she hoped her party will win their first MP in the Commons on Thursday when Peterborough residents will go to the polls.
The by-election was triggered when disgraced former Labour MP Fiona Onasanya was ousted after lying about her speeding tickets.
Businessman Mike Greene, 54, who has appeared on Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire, will stand for the Brexit Party in its first attempt to win a seat in Westminster.
Launching his campaign earlier this month, he said: “I find it quite disgusting in a way, a disgrace that this by-election even has to happen.
“The people of Peterborough chose Fiona Onasanya in good faith that she would work for them, would deliver for them and I never saw her in this city.
“We heard more about her when she was in prison than we ever did when she was an MP.”
The lifelong Tory said: “The reason I support the Brexit Party is they’re the only party that in my view has absolute clarity and focus on what Brexit is.
“We need to write our own laws, we need to be in control of our own trade, we need to be in control of our own borders.”
