Urgent hunt for ‘high risk’ girl, 14, who disappeared nearly a week ago

A desperate appeal has been launched to find a 14-year-old girl who went missing six days ago.

Monika Molnar, from West Yorkshire, is described as ‘high risk’ and was last seen in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester, on August 10.

The young teenager was carrying a large rucksack and wearing all black clothing at the time.

It is also believed Monika may be calling herself Amy.

Police have urged anyone who may have information about her whereabouts to dial 999.

‘Monika has been going by the name of Amy,’ officers said.

‘She was last seen wearing all black clothing with black shoes, carrying a large black rucksack, with a black holdall bag.

‘If anyone has any information about her whereabouts or has had contact with Monika / Amy then please contact us quoting log 616-15082021.

‘The easiest way to do this is online via https://crowd.in/KRwUi7 using the chat facility to the bottom right of the screen which takes you directly through to a call handler.

‘Alternatively if you know her current location then please call 999.’
